Gordi’s is a tribute to people of the North Country who have made an impact on the character of this part of New Hampshire. It all began with Bob Copenhaver & Gordi Eaton growing up together in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. In 1986 Bob & his wife, Muffy, brought their restaurant know-how to team up with Gordi & his wife, Karen, to open Gordi’s Fish & Steak House.
Along with delicious food, the emphasis of Gordi’s is on skiing be two of the owners we’re on Olympic ski teams. Gordi Eaton was on the 1960 & 1964 Olympic teams and coached the 1968 Olympic team. Karen Budge Eaton was on the 1968 & 1972 Olympic teams. Guests are invited to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the pub and are encouraged to walk through and see the photos and memorabilia of past & present ski heroes and characters.
The attractive building is on the scenic Kancamagus Highway, at the Depot Plaza, Lincoln, NH. It is accented with Victorian pieces, handmade stained glass lamps, historical photographs & glistening, leaded beveled glass hand-crafted by Karen. A large carved lobster welcomes guests, once guests enter they will see a tank full of live lobsters, one of the house specialties.
